Soda Ash Light is the trade name for sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃). It is synthetically produced in large quantities from salt (sodium chloride) and limestone by a method known as the Solvay process. Soda Ash Light is used for production of detergents, chemicals, soaps, textile, paper, food and other sodium compounds and for casting industry, oil refineries.
